New Club Committee for 2011/2012

At last night's VicBears Annual General Meeting, a new Club Committee was elected for 2011/2012.

Congratulations to the guys that will be working hard for your club in the year ahead:

Rob Camm - President, Craig Ingrey - Vice-Presidnet, Clint Roberts - Treasurer, Peter Undy - Secretary and Jack Chapman, Kevin Reader, Phil Webster and Drew Ball in General Committee positions.

At the AGM, outgoing-President Rick Cooper and secretary Peter Undy presented the impressive Executive Reports for 2010/2011, reporting on the achievements of the year gone by and the strong position the Club is currently in - membership wise and financially.

Rob Camm, new President then took a few minutes to talk about the year ahead and the exciting opportunities VicBears has to go from "good to great, great to awesome" in the areas of membership, community and FUNdraising.

Annual General Meeting [AGM]: Tuesday 26 July, 2011

All financial members of VicBears Inc. for 2011 are invited to attend our 2011 Annual General Meeting.

This is your opportunity as a member of VicBears to elect the 2011-12 committee to run our club, for the following 12 months.

By attending the AGM you can express your voice in the way you want the club to move ahead in the coming year.

The meeting will start at 7:30pm sharp, Tuesday 26 July 2011 and will be held at the VAC/GMHC Training Room, Ground Floor, 6 Claremont Street, South Yarra.

Please note - you must be a financial member of VicBears before you can vote at the AGM. If your current membership has expired, you should renew your membership as soon as possible. Membership renewals will be accepted up until the opening of the meeting.

If you feel that you have the time, energy and commitment to assist in the running of the club please nominate for one of the Committee positions.

It’s time again for another friendly and traditional VicBears DEN NIGHT at The Laird Hotel. Those fourth Saturday’s of the month come round quickly eh!

And this is a very special Den Night, as we’ll be handing over the Big Cheque of funds raised during Southern Hibearnation 2011 to our Charity Partner, the Australian Lesbian & Gay Archives. Leaving the safety of the city limits, VicBears ventures out into the wilderness to find food and fellowship. [Well, Daylesford isn't that wild I guess!]

To coincide with the new Club Committee's Planning Weekend in the area this month we've decided to have a casual dinner in Daylesford and invite all bears, near and far, to join us!

This is a great opportunity for all our country members and bears in the Daylesford/Ballarat/Kyneto​n area to come along, enjoy your fellow bear brethren and a hearty meal to kick off the weekend.
